Thanks for the great tips! Have fun at the ECA, I have applied to speak at their next event so maybe we will be presenting at a conference sometime soon together!
shredded my hands thee other day with 1 min on 15 secs off swings for 30 min straight! should have taken some chalk to the park.
Great tips bro, hope to catch up with you at ECA in New York
Great advice,there,Jason!
Regarding “looking up”…can you speak a bit more to using that for breaking through the “sticking point” of the OH press, and the snatch?
When i saw you extend the NECK–i jumped up in my seat…..
In the Dec.09 KB full-cycle competition, one lady seemed to be snapping her neck with every JERK rep…..when i enquired,i was told that in some European schools…that’s to get you past the fatigue point of your elbow extension…
Looking forward to talking with you @ ECA(what?,1 month away?)
Regards and thanks for the great content!

Awesome Steve, please let me know how it goes. You should notice it quite a bit on presses. I’ev never met anyone that hasn’t.
Next week 40kg?
@ Nikki. That would rock! Did you tell them you won the “Golden Kettlebell Award?”
Take acre of those hands.
@ Keith. Hope to see you in NYC. How’s training?
@ Jason. Sure, as soon as you feel your sticking point kicking in look up, first with your eyes, if that isn;t strong enough actually extend through your cervical spine.
It shouldn’t come into play so much while snatching because you’re not actively moving through extension.
In my opinion, some GS athletes extend too aggressively as they Jerk. I can understand the need to but the impulse form their Jerks should be able to drive the weight up enough.
At this point in my life, I’m all about longevity. That much extension would bust up my neck.
Great info brotha! When will you be coming to austin,tx for kettlebell certs?
Thanks Barron. I’m working on a Texas cert as we speak. Keep checking back.
Love you guys and the tips/vids!! Wish you were over here in the UK doing your tours. Keep up the good work xx
Great and useful tip Jason. thanxalot
@ Jonezy,
We would like to cross the pond. All we need is the space and the people. We’ll work on it during 2010.
Where are you located?
