Just because you can…doesn’t mean you should…

January 27, 2010 by admin

Here’s a great example of a kettlebell exercise that really serves no purpose other than stroking the performers ego. There are other, perhaps better ways of training your “core” that have a much lower risk to benefit ratio.

I didn’t create this picture, I don’t endorse it and I actaully recommend against. But boys will be boys…I understand but don’t go blaming kettlebell training when you mess up your body.

P.S. Sorry we’ve been a bit slow with our video updates! I’ve been working on something very big and it’s been taking up alot of my time.
No worries, you’ll be the first to know what’s been going on once I’m allowed to officially announce it!

Yeah I saw that too and all I could think of was how idiotic that is. I can jump off a cliff without a rope too, but it doesn’t mean I will.

Wow that is a really (excuse my language) Stupid move.

I bet you that some is going to say “that is really cool I bet I can do it” and then end up get hurt and blame the Kettlebells.

I can’t believe some one would actually do that. Especially if you read the shirt and see who they are representing… Bad Move I would have to say.

I prefer the single leg version of that stupid move. Better for my core

So how do you set that one up? Cuz kettlebells don’t just hold themselves upside down.

Ya know, if I workout alone that is.

Wow… it doesn’t get much dumber or more useless than that.
Or maybe I have it all wrong and I should have every one of my 50+ year old lawyer clients do this. It’s a functional exercise, right?
