These 2 Kettlebell Swings Work Like Crazy!

September 23, 2009 by admin

I’ve always been a believer in sticking with the basic kettlebell exercises. The most bang for your buck will always come from a steady diet of traditional kettlebell exercises, Snatches, Cleans, Jerks, Presses and Swings.

That being said, once you have your basic kettlebell swings under control for example, there’s nothing stopping your from exploring other variations of kettlebell swings.

We call this “Same but Different” and it works very well for keeping your kettlebell training and workouts fresh while still seeing progress on the most importantĀ kettlebell exercises.

These 2 kettlebell swing variations are some of my favorite variations. Please try them out and report back to headquarters.

@ Keith, Thansk brother. I’ve been felling self-conscious about the brow for awhile now. I appreciate your input!

@ LaSaun, Is there anything about kettlebells you don’t love? Didn;t think so.

Love the captions. Brow is fine. How about a close-up on the leg tattoos next time so that we viewers can provide feedback on those. ;-)

@ Fran, Thanks for your input. I’ll highlight the tattoos next week…cool? One of them will be covered up soon.

    Jason!
The first time i saw myself on video,it looked like you could plant corn btw. MY BROWS!!!–
You don’t need that botoxin–just retract your eyes, ears and brows the same way we tell clients to retract the ’scapulae, and it’s all good!!

I kid-Thanks for continuing to demonstrate great,forward-thinking KB ideas!
I like that you ’swing in BAREFEET,as it really helps to “ground” the whole swing mechanic!

@ Jason K. Thanks brother. I wish I could live my entire life barefoot. I’m working on it. My 2 year old hates shoes. Fights everytime he has to wear them.
